According to the latest research from Harvard University, the number of Americans living to the ripe old age of 100 doubled in the 1980s, and doubled again in the 1990s. In fact, right now there are over 70,000 people Americans who are over 100, and by 2050 there will be 800,000. Even more amazing researchers are now counting how many super-centenerians there are -- people living to be 110 or older.
